1. Who We Are

NamazHub is a free charitable service operated by the Amir Dean Foundation, a non-profit organization. We provide prayer times, Qibla direction, and mosque finder tools to Muslims worldwide at no cost.

2. What We Collect

• Email address — used for account login and optional prayer reminders only
• Username — chosen by you, displayed within the app
• Location coordinates — used solely to calculate your local prayer times and Qibla direction. Never stored permanently unless you save them in your profile.
• Preferences — calculation method, language, timezone (stored to personalize your experience)
• Login timestamps — last login date, used for security and to detect inactive accounts

3. What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels
• We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics
• We do not collect payment information (donations handled by Stripe/PayPal directly)
• We do not collect device identifiers or fingerprints
• We do not read your contacts, messages, or other device data

4. How We Use Your Data

• To calculate accurate prayer times for your location
• To send optional prayer time reminders (only if you enable this)
• To secure your account (password recovery emails)
• To maintain the service and prevent abuse

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with any third party. The only exception is if required by law (court order or legal process), in which case we will notify you where legally permitted.

Location data sent to our prayer API is used only to compute prayer times and is not stored on the API server.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Hostinger's servers in the European Union. We use industry-standard security: bcrypt password hashing, HTTPS-only connections, HTTP security headers, and CSRF protection on all forms.

7. Your Rights

• Access: View all your data in your Profile page
• Correction: Update your username, location, and preferences anytime
• Deletion: Delete your account and all data permanently from your Profile page
• Portability: Contact us to request a copy of your data

8. Cookies

We use a single session cookie (namazhub_sess) to keep you signed in. It contains only a session identifier — no personal data. No third-party cookies are set.

9. Children

NamazHub is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will delete the account immediately.

10. Changes

We will notify registered users by email of any material changes to this policy. The updated date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
